About Mark Edgington

I’m Mark Edgington—a writer, community volunteer, and advocate focused on accountability, service, and personal growth.
My life has included serious failures, and the experience of confronting those failures has shaped how I move through the world today. I believe real character is built not in achievement, but in how we respond when things go wrong. For me, that meant rebuilding from the ground up—with integrity, purpose, and a long-term commitment to service.
Over the years, I’ve contributed to causes that reflect that commitment—from helping fund an orphanage in Uganda, to donating blood and providing resources to organizations focused on community health and environmental restoration.I don’t see these efforts as accomplishments, but as responsibilities—part of doing the steady work to leave things better than I found them.
I share what I’ve learned through writing and speaking, not to dwell on the past, but to offer something useful to others walking a similar path. My focus now is on action, impact, and using my story to serve something greater than myself.
