I just spent some time in Albania, and I have to say, it was incredible. If you’ve never been to Theth, picture this: sharp mountain peaks, clear blue rivers, and villages that look like they’ve barely changed in a hundred years. It’s tucked away in northern Albania, and it’s not the easiest place to get to, but that’s part of what makes it worth it.
The drive alone is an adventure. Winding roads, cliffs that make you grip the wheel a little tighter, and amazing scenery. When my wife and I finally got to Theth, it felt like stepping into another world. It was slower, quieter, and completely untouched by modern chaos.

We hiked one of the most famous routes in the Balkans. Mountain switchbacks, glacial streams, and views that make you stop to catch your breath.

It was a trip to remember, and I’m so grateful I was able to spend it with my beautiful wife Laura.
