Learning English, One Conversation at a Time

In the next week or two, Laura and I will be launching something we’ve been working on for a little while now, our Best Slow English podcast.

The idea is straightforward. We sit down and talk about everyday life, but we slow it down in clear American English. Subtitles included for people trying to learn.

English continues to grow as a global language. Today, more than 1.5 billion people are learning or using English worldwide.

It’s the most studied second language, and for many people it opens the doors to work, education, and connection. But learning it can feel overwhelming, especially when people speak so quickly.

That’s where Best Slow English comes in.

We are not trying to teach in a traditional way. No pressure, no heavy structure. Real conversations, spoken at a pace that gives people a chance to follow along and build confidence over time.

We will share more soon!
