Project 180 Sarasota: Donations Matched Right Now

I’ve come to believe that structure and accountability make a real difference in whether someone moves forward or falls back.

That’s one of the reasons I support Project 180 in Sarasota.

They work with people coming out of the system and give them something most people take for granted: a clear path. That includes housing, job support, and life skills. Not just encouragement, but structure.

Project 180’s focus is simple. Help people rebuild their lives and reintegrate into the community in a stable way. And that’s not easy. Most people coming out are dealing with real barriers. Housing, employment, and just figuring out where to start.

I’ve had a long time since I was 17 to try to live differently. What I’ve learned is that change doesn’t happen on its own. It takes time, consistency, and the right environment.

That’s what organizations like this provide.

They’re doing steady work that doesn’t always get attention, but it matters. It gives people a real chance to build something different.

Today and tomorrow until noon, donations are being matched, which makes it a good time to support what they’re doing.
